The Lugarti LED grow bulb is a full-spectrum, 13-watt screw-in LED that combines 4,500K and 6,500K light. Lugarti rates it at 380 PAR at 4 inches and 72 PAR at 12 inches, and the head adjusts through 340 degrees so you can aim the light where the plants are.
Live plants in a bioactive vivarium need far more light than a basking bulb gives. A grow bulb like this keeps orchids, bromeliads and other terrarium plants healthy and brightens the enclosure, which also encourages natural daytime behavior. It is not a UVB source, so keep the animal’s UVB lighting as well.

Keeper notes
Hang the Lugarti LED grow bulb over the screen and aim the head at the plants; the closer the light, the stronger the growth, so place light-hungry plants near the top. Use a fixture or clamp lamp with a standard socket, and run it on a timer for a regular day length, for example 12 hours. Because it produces little heat, it does not replace the basking bulb.
