The Exo Terra Mister is a pump pressure sprayer that saves your hand from endless trigger squeezing. A few pumps pressurize the 2 liter reservoir, the nozzle adjusts from a single stream to a full mist, and a lock keeps it spraying continuously.
It is ideal for misting larger or several terrariums at once, as well as outdoor enclosures and greenhouses. Use distilled or soft water to avoid white mineral spots on the glass, and mist the enclosure and plants rather than spraying directly at the animal.
Important
Do not aim or spray directly at reptile. Run clean warm water through the pump and reservoir prior to first use. Not intended for use with chemicals or poisons. Do not leave in extreme heat when pressurized. To avoid calcium and mineral deposit buildup, use distilled or soft water.
Keeper notes
Rinse the Exo Terra Mister with clean water after use and release the pressure before you store it, which keeps the seals and pump working longer. Fill it with fresh water each time rather than leaving water standing in the tank, because standing water grows bacteria. Mist enough to raise humidity and give your animals droplets to drink, then let the enclosure dry out partly between mistings, as constantly wet enclosures lead to mold and skin problems.
