Repashy Savory Stew is a meal replacement gel for meat-loving omnivorous reptiles and amphibians. It is suited to animals such as turtles, skinks, tegus, and bearded dragons, along with other omnivorous species. The formula gives keepers a prepared gel option when they want a food built specifically around the needs of meat-oriented omnivores rather than a fruit- or plant-focused formula.
To prepare Repashy Savory Stew, stir one part powder into 2-3 parts boiling water, then let the mixture cool or pour it directly into a mold. The gel sets at room temperature and can be cut into pieces or long strips for feeding. Treat prepared gel as fresh food; it can be sealed and refrigerated for up to two weeks or frozen for up to six months. Offer ad libitum. The gel format makes portioning simple once a batch has been prepared.
Directions
Bring water to a boil on stove, in microwave or kettle. Pour boiling water into a bowl and immediately stir in powder (1 part powder to 2-3 parts water). Let cool or immediately pour into mold. Gel will set at room temperature. Cut into pieces or long strips for feeding. Once made, gel should be treated as fresh food and can be sealed and stored in refrigerator for up to two weeks, or freezer for up to six months. Offer ad libitum.
