What you see in the photos
A brown to tan base with a fine gold-cream line along each row of crests down the back, darker sides with fine light speckling, and small white marks near the base of the tail stump. Some photos show it fired down (paler) and others fired up (darker).
Overall, the lines along the crests read as a partial pinstripe-type pattern. Also, crested geckos change color as they grow. In addition, the same gecko looks darker when “fired up” and paler when “fired down”. As a result, adult color can differ from these photos. For that reason, we describe what we see, and we don’t claim a morph or genetics we can’t confirm. You can read more in our crested gecko morphs guide.
About the missing tail
This gecko has dropped its tail. Crested geckos don’t regrow their tails, so the tail will not come back. However, a tailless crested gecko lives a normal, healthy life, and many adults in collections have no tail.
Why is this gecko unsexed?
These photos don’t show the underside, so we don’t state the sex here. Instead, we confirm sex, weight and hatch date before you buy; just ask us through the contact form.
Care
First, feed a complete powdered diet such as Repashy Crested Gecko MRP. Next, give it a tall, well-ventilated enclosure at room temperature (roughly 72–78°F) and mist it once a day. Finally, our full crested gecko care guide covers setup, feeding and common problems.
Shipping and guarantee
