What you see in the photos
A pale grey base with fine light speckling on the sides, a faint olive-yellow back and a cream top to the tail. In these photos it looks fired down (pale), so it will look darker at times.
Overall, it reads as a low-contrast flame-type. Also, crested geckos change color as they grow. In addition, the same gecko looks darker when “fired up” and paler when “fired down”. As a result, adult color can differ from these photos. For that reason, we describe what we see, and we don’t claim a morph or genetics we can’t confirm. Why is this gecko unsexed?
Young crested geckos can’t be sexed reliably until the pores and bulges show, which usually happens at around 15–20 g. Until then, we list them as unsexed instead of guessing. However, if you would like a current weight or new photos before you buy, just ask us through the contact form.
Care
