The Lugarti reptile hide box is made of durable plastic with smooth surfaces, so it wipes clean and can be disinfected between animals. Its simple, low shape fits rack tubs as well as terrariums.
Every reptile needs somewhere to feel secure, and most keepers give at least two hides: one on the warm side and one on the cool side. The small size, 5.5 x 3.75 x 2.5 inches, suits hatchling and juvenile snakes, young leopard geckos and other small terrestrial reptiles.

Keeper notes
Place one Lugarti reptile hide box on the warm side and one on the cool side, so your animal does not have to choose between security and the right temperature. A hide should be snug: an animal that can touch the walls and roof feels safer than one in a hide that is too large. Clean it during routine maintenance, and move up a size as your animal grows. For shedding, add damp sphagnum moss to make a humid hide. Choose a spot where the substrate is level, so the hide sits flat and stable.
