Lugarti reptile calcium without D3 is a microfine, precipitated calcium carbonate made from high quality limestone. It contains no vitamin D3, no phosphorus, no oyster shell and no bone meal. In other words, it is just pure calcium carbonate.
Choose the version without D3 when your animal has good UVB lighting. It is also the right pick when you already use a multivitamin with D3. As a result, the two do not add up to too much D3. Because it has no D3, this is also the calcium to leave in a small dish for free-feeding.
Directions
Place insects in a cup or bag and gently shake to lightly coat them. Feed immediately after dusting food items.

If you free-feed calcium, use a small, shallow dish. Refresh it when it gets damp or soiled, because wet powder cakes and goes stale. For dusting, put a few insects in a cup or bag with a pinch of Lugarti reptile calcium without D3. Then shake gently until they are lightly coated. However, this calcium relies on UVB or another supplement for vitamin D3. So check your lighting and replace UVB bulbs on schedule. Finally, keep the jar closed and dry.
