Repashy Beardie Buffet is a reptile omnivore gel premix developed for bearded dragons and other omnivorous species that eat both insects and vegetables. Its role is straightforward: it provides a prepared gel option for animals whose normal feeding pattern includes both animal and plant foods, without shifting into a strictly insectivore or herbivore formula.
To prepare Repashy Beardie Buffet, stir one part powder into 2-3 parts boiling water, then let it cool or pour it directly into a mold. The gel sets at room temperature and can be cut into pieces or long strips for feeding. Treat prepared gel as fresh food; it can be sealed and refrigerated for up to two weeks or frozen for up to six months. Offer ad libitum. Refrigeration will extend the freshness of the dry product between batches.
Directions
Bring water to a boil on stove, in microwave or kettle. Pour boiling water into a bowl and immediately stir in powder (1 part powder to 2-3 parts water). Let cool or immediately pour into mold. Gel will set at room temperature. Cut into pieces or long strips for feeding. Once made, gel should be treated as fresh food and can be sealed and stored in refrigerator for up to two weeks, or freezer for up to six months. Offer ad libitum.
