The Exo Terra Light Dome is a compact 7-inch fixture with an extra deep, highly polished aluminum reflector. According to Exo Terra, the reflector increases light, UVA and UVB output by up to 100%. It also has a ceramic socket, an on/off switch and a 6 ft (180 cm) cord. Because it is small, it fits neatly on a screen top.
Inside, it takes either a compact UVB bulb up to 26W or an incandescent basking or heat bulb up to 150W. However, do not use it with a ceramic heat emitter or an Exo Terra Solar Glo. Also set it on a metal screen, never on glass or plastic. Similarly, clamp it only to the frame. Finally, let it cool for 15 minutes before changing the bulb.

Caution
Not for use with ceramic heat emitters or Exo Terra Solar Glo. Not for aquariums. Hot surface: keep away from curtains and anything flammable, and out of reach of children. Let it cool 15 minutes before changing the bulb. Place over a metal screen, never on glass or plastic; clamp only to the terrarium frame.
Keeper notes
Fit the Exo Terra Light Dome with a bulb within its rating. Then run heat bulbs in it on a thermostat, so the temperature stays where you set it. Also keep the cord where animals and water cannot reach it. Finally, unplug the dome before you change the bulb.
