The Exo Terra Reptile Cave has a realistic pebble design and a roomy hiding space. As a result, it blends into any type of terrarium. Also, it gives a secure place to hide and sleep. In addition, it offers a cooler, more humid microclimate than the open enclosure.
A good hide is one of the simplest ways to reduce stress. After all, a stressed reptile often eats less and is less active. The small size suits young leopard geckos and other small terrestrial species. Most keepers also offer one hide on the warm side and one on the cool side.

Keeper notes
Set the Exo Terra Reptile Cave firmly on the floor of the enclosure, or bed it slightly into the substrate. As a result, the animal cannot dig under it and get trapped. When your animal is about to shed, add damp sphagnum moss inside to make a humid hide. Also clean it regularly with a reptile-safe cleaner and rinse it well. Once your animal fills the cave completely, move up to the next size.
