Lugarti reptile probiotics is a powder with seven strains of naturally occurring microorganisms and five digestive enzymes. Generally, it is meant to help replenish the beneficial bacteria in the gut. In addition, it is meant to support appetite.
Keepers usually reach for a probiotic when an animal finishes a course of medication, or after shipping or rehoming. Similarly, some use it for an animal that is eating poorly. However, it does not replace a vet visit. So when an animal keeps refusing food or losing weight, have a reptile veterinarian check it.
Directions
Sprinkle lightly onto insects, greens, or mix with other diets. Always feed immediately after dusting. Use once a week.
Notes
Not for human consumption.
Refrigeration will extend freshness.

Keeper notes
Sprinkle Lugarti reptile probiotics on the food or dusted insects, following the directions. Also keep the jar closed in a cool, dry place, so the cultures stay viable. Probiotics support recovery; however, they do not treat infections or parasites. So if an animal has runny or smelly stools, regurgitates or keeps losing weight, see a reptile veterinarian first. Also bring a fresh stool sample to the visit.
