Repashy SuperCal NoD is a micro-fine calcium supplement for reptiles and amphibians with no vitamin D. It is intended for species kept outdoors with daily exposure to natural sunlight or for animals receiving high levels of UVB radiation from specialty bulbs. The calcium carbonate is sourced from the Mohave Desert in California and micro-ground to an average size of 3.5 microns.
For feeder insects, Repashy SuperCal NoD is used as a dusting powder, lightly coating the insects before they are offered. For fresh fruit and vegetables, use 1 heaping teaspoon per pound. The very fine particle size is intended to give the calcium strong adhesion when dusted onto insects. This formula is specifically the no-vitamin-D option, so its place in a supplementation routine is tied to the sunlight or UVB conditions described above.
Directions
Dust insects by placing in a plastic bag and shaking lightly to coat insects with powder before feeding to animals. For supplementing fresh fruit and vegetables, use 1 heaping Teaspoon per Pound.

Our Calcium Carbonate is mined from the Mohave Desert in California, where it was deposited 300 million years ago during the Mississippian Age as a large graveyard of marine animals. Our calcium is micro ground to an average size of 3.5 microns, and provides the ultimate “stick” when dusted onto insects.
